Only 7 more days to go, and I still haven’t tried for 2 minutes in a hand stand. I’ve been thinking about it, and next time I try I think it will help to have a stopwatch going so I can see how close I am.
Today’s workout was doubled up with a playground visit next to the Peterborough Archives (which is the only place I know if in town where sunsets can be seen!).
In what is surely my lamest effort yet, I count pushing a merry-go-round as a “workout”.
I’m going to take a break from handstands for the next few days and let those muscle groups get a decent reset before the next attempt. Back to back attempts are getting harder, not easier, which tells me I probably need to give it a rest then come back and get through those last 10 seconds.
I had music in this time and it got me within about 10 seconds of my goal of breaking 2 minutes in a handstand. With only 16 more days in this video series, I’m hoping to hit 2 minutes soon!
Another 1:30ish attempt. Still nowhere near 2 mins gad dammit!
From this video it looks like I get really out of line vertically near the end, so I bet focusing on keeping better from would result in a longer hold.
